One in four Canadians have a disability – many with disabilities that are not visible. We’ll keep working to make sure all persons with disabilities are treated with dignity and respect, and have equal opportunities to participate and succeed. #IDPD2023 pm.gc.ca/en/news/statem…

This is still happening right here in Ontario. Despite changes to labor laws and sheltered workshops, some employers still pay very little or nothing at all and claim it’s work training #subminimumwage has to end. No more excuses.

We're demanding the government stop allowing employers to pay people with disabilities less than minimum wage #RaiseTheWage #14C #SubminimumWage disabilityscoop.com/2023/11/10/dis…

Until airlines stop looking at wheelchairs and other mobility aids as luggage, these incidents will continue. first step is a change in attitude & culture towards the disabled. technology already exists to ensure wheelchairs travel safely and intact. It’s the Will that’s missing

Well. @AirCanada left my chair in Toronto. I’m now without my essential equipment. Independence taken away. I’m furious. Unacceptable. #RightsOnFlights
