Anger & a negative focus on others is inversely related to one’s deep sense of agency. (This is covered in an upcoming mental health series on the Huberman Lab podcast with expert guest.)
Twitter is wild. Y'all sure go hard at each other. Maybe chill a bit? 🤣
The Internet now consumes 10% of global electricity. The system is hidden in buildings around the world. This causes twice the emissions of global aviation. Gas and then nuclear are the solutions. This detailed paper should be read by all: netzerowatch.com/content/upload…
Over time, the person who approaches life with an openness to being wrong and a willingness to learn outperforms the person who doesn’t.

Without data you're just another person with an opinion. - Deming
One of the best ways to keep your team's morale high is to connect them with customers more often. There is nothing else that comes close to feeling the impact of your work than to ground that work in the reality of what customers and user problems you're solving.
Your people need #slack time. If everyone is fully utilized then you can't be agile. #DisciplinedAgile
Development speed is not worth fretting about. Deliver value. When you work with deliberation & competence, you are working as fast as you can. Wishing will not change that. In any event, if it's truly valuable, you have no choice about building it, no matter how long it takes.
OH: "Prioritize completion of fewer stories over progress on many stories" I like this formulation. Well-described.
Well-said!
“[Agile] does not attempt to forecast, it attempts to be as productive as possible while not knowing the future. It focuses on resilience as a risk management strategy, not anticipation.” @the_chrismo (Chris Morris)
We know what to do.It's not tech,we have plenty. It's not money,we have enough. It's the willingness to put interest of the common good ahead of our own, knowing that by doing so,we are better off ourself as well. And that takes courage
Worth a read…good nuggets below!

A healthy way to contextualize some decisions:
When you say 'no' to something, you're usually saying 'yes' to something else that matters more at the moment. So instead of feeling guilty, let's celebrate that! What's something you said no to this past week, and what did you say yes to instead?
It's impossible to please everyone. The question is whether you're disappointing the right people. Part of setting healthy boundaries is deciding who you're willing to let down—and who has the right to make you feel guilty. Not everyone deserves power over your emotions.
Being wrong is not a bad thing like they teach you in school. It is an opportunity to learn something. There are no mistakes, only lessons. Growth is a process of trial and error.🧠

In software development, I often see reluctance to document the work we do, based on the misunderstanding that it benefits only the reader.
