On the 24th November 1991 the world lost a legend. Freddie Mercury will always be missed, never forgotten and forever loved. #FreddieMercury #Queen

It’s 4 years today, since I lost my Dad.. In that time watching United, what I’ve now come to realise is that whether we win, lose or draw, it’s who you share those moments with that really matters. You will never truly know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory ❤️

I can’t thank @bbcstrictly enough. I’ve been watching the dances from tonight’s show on YT here in America and it’s the first time I’ve even smiled for over a week. Even in the darkness there’s always a bit of sparkle

Apparently tearing down hostage posters is righteous but tearing down a flag is a pogrom-worthy offence.

Louise Hall Reposted

There is no moral equivalence between the tearing down of a Palestinian flag and some anti Arab chanting (which we condemn) and the organised, systematic hunting of Jews by a mob. We have we seen the systematic hunting of Jews before - with the Nazis.

A lot of people on here feeling the need to insist that the throwing into canals, attempted stabbings, head-stamping and hunting down of Jews this week in Amsterdam was provoked by the bad behaviour of Maccabi Tel-Aviv fans. Well, good to know that in this instance we’re ok with…

When Badenoch said not all cultures were equally valid I am pretty sure that this is an example of what she meant. If any of those outraged by her words then want to disagree, please do so. These misogynistic ‘values’ do not belong in 2024 Western cultures.

Libya is introducing a law similar to the Taliban’s, imposing a dress code on women, banning gender mixing in public, and restricting women’s travel without a male guardian. Libya’s interior minister has said that those seeking personal freedom “should go to Europe.”

To all these people saying the Israeli fans in Amsterdam deserved it because they behaved badly: So are we now saying that pogroms are fine if people do stuff we don’t like? Or is it just the Jews?

👏🏻

Just shut up, Toto. We all know that the #F1xed #AbuDhabiScandal was a complete joke. But you were in the unique position of actually being able to do something about it. Instead you partied the night away. Stop speaking out of both sides of your mouth. #F1

Today marks 400 days since the atrocities of October 7th. There are still 101 hostages held in captivity in Gaza, five of whom are British or have British family. Our message to the UK Government is clear. They must do everything to secure their release. Now. #Bringthemhome

For 400 days our hearts have been kidnapped in Gaza. All the 101 remaining hostages in Gaza must come home NOW! 🎗️💔 #letourpeoplego #releaseourhostages

“But what about the chants!” “They ripped down flags!” If you haven’t condemned every single time a protester has burned an Israeli or American flag, I don’t want to hear it. If you haven’t spoken out against chants like “from the river to the sea” or “strike, strike, Tel…

🚨🚨🚨SHARE THIS ASAP. ♻️♻️♻️ Israelis in Amsterdam who are in distress and need help, should call the situation room of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, this is the number +97226667444.

To my Jewish friends, I know it’s not much, but please know I wish I could hug you. Watching these videos has made me sick—and knowing how the world will likely respond makes it even worse. You’re in my heart.

If Amsterdam police can’t guarantee the safety of visiting supporters perhaps @uefa with their No to Racism should expel @AFCAjax from the Europa League?

A 30-year-old Maccabi Tel Aviv fan describes this evening’s attack: "They ran over me and pulled a knife on me. I am slightly injured, but I am not ready to receive treatment here, only in Israel. We were ambushed…The police here abandoned us. Every fourth person walking the…
