Said it last year and will say it again and it’s the lads who have no concept of business costs will jump at me over this. A min wage of €13.50 will close Business just like it has this year. An increase of this amount doesn’t just lift min wage staff it lifts nearly all.

Tourist numbers substantially down on 2023 across the country. Businesses reporting tourist numbers down between 10% and 20% down. Surely Government must acknowledge the difficulty industry is facing with increased costs and less tourists. Reduce Vat to 9% to save businesses.
