Excited to share Clip-Forge (CVPR 2022) with everyone. This is a very simple but effective method which tackles the problem of generating shapes from text when paired text and shape data are not available.

📢JoinABLe is a new #CVPR2022 paper from the @autodesk AI Lab and @MIT_CSAIL Ever wondered how physical objects with hundreds of parts get assembled in CAD? It’s a tedious process that we automate by learning how pair of parts connect to form joints. 1/9🧵

We are looking for an #intern at the Autodesk AI lab for this summer. If you are interested in deep generative modelling, representation learning with applications to 3D vision, please reach out to me or apply to this link: autodesk.wd1.myworkdayjobs.com/Ext/job/United… #hiring

CLIP-Forge: Towards Zero-Shot Text-to-Shape Generation abs: arxiv.org/abs/2110.02624 zero-shot text-to-shape generation based on a two-stage training process, which only depends on an unlabelled shape dataset and a pre-trained image-text network such as CLIP

Do you want #DeepLearning a style similarity loss for 3D shapes? Just released the code for our @ICCV_2021 paper, UVStyle-Net: Unsupervised Few-shot Learning of 3D Style Similarity Measure for B-Reps. Check out the paper, project, code, data, and demos: github.com/AutodeskAILab/…

📢 We have a mini-batch of papers at #CVPR2021 focused on deep learning with solid models. The objects around us, chairs, cars, devices etc., are almost always designed as solid models in CAD, but surprisingly few deep learning approaches have been used... until now. A thread 🧵

In Hungarian, we don’t use he/she there is only one gender pronoun “Ö”. But it’s fascinating when this is fed through Google Translate, the algorithms highlight the biases that are there. Then imagine enacting any kind of change from those biases, encoded into computer code.

I was reading an old @NeurIPSConf paper form 2005, and was surprised that there's no appendix, so I checked when appendices started becoming a 'trend' (img). Since I already had the data, I checked other trends as well (blogpost): towardsdatascience.com/neurips-confer…

Excited to share a new paper, Curve Circuits We reverse engineer a non-trivial 50k+ parameter learned algorithm from the weights of a neural network and use its core ideas to craft an artificial artificial neural network from scratch that reimplements it distill.pub/2020/circuits/…
