Really liked the content covered in Generative AI in Action: shortener.manning.com/BABv by @bahree The book covers the fundamentals of GenAI along with arch & code examples. Looking forward to a follow up on multimodal LLMs that are released in the future. @ManningBooks

Funny seeing adverts for Babbel and Preply - two language learning apps in the @duolingo app. Guess Duolingo is so confident people won’t jump ship that they allow competitors to advertise on their own platform 😬 #Duolingo #Competition #Advertising

Our new course, "From Deep Learning Foundations to Stable Diffusion", is finally done after 8 months of work!!! With >30 hours of video content (all free, no ads!), you'll learn how to create and train a Stable Diffusion model starting from pure Python 🧵 fast.ai/posts/part2-20…

I asked #ChatGPT to create a 3-day itinerary to drive to Luxembourg from Germany with a dog. I was really surprised by how well it was able to create a dog-friendly travel itinerary giving notes on why it chose those places. Totally changes (yet again!) the way one plans travel!

Following Machine Learning Singapore's first back-in-person "Prompting, Instructions and the Future of Large Language Models" MeetUp, I've put together a video that explains how (for instance) #ChatGPT fits into current research directions : youtu.be/ameLkzDaLX4

Ever wondered how a QR code works? No, me neither but it's low-key fascinating. (Warning, there is some extremely nerdy shit here.👇 )

How to present a poster at a conference? Poster presentation is a great way to disseminate your research findings, have in-depth discussions, and expand your networks! Here are some tips for presenting like a pro! 👇

The mask mandate has been lifted, but is quite weird to see people walking grocery stores without masks. Feels like I’ve always seen people with masks in stores 😂 I’m not sure when I’ll be able to take the plunge though. Let’s wait and watch 😊

April started off with snow just when spring like weather got almost everyone out to the gardens. Viewing the saying “April, April, der weiß nicht, was er will” live in action. Back to some cold weather this week 🥶

Impressed to see my doctor’s office offering booster shot while I was waiting for my doctor. This seems like a viable model to scale out vaccinating a larger population. Had to refuse as I had already been boostered in December 💪🏼 #COVID19 #boosterimpfung

After the macOS 12.2 update, I got ~200 GB back 😱 What was my Mac doing with so much space! I feel bad for people who choose a Mac with 128 GB #macOS #Apple
