“We’re pretty behind when it comes to #menopause in particular, and I think now we’re having a much more open and public dialogue about that time in a person’s life and coming to the realization that we really do need to know more,” Schubert said. @k8eschubert

A note from me in our monthly newsletter. We've been doing this for almost 35 years and seen 5 administration changes. The mission doesn't change: conta.cc/4feqU1x

Such great info in here! swhr.org

Today is #WorldMenopauseDay - check out @SWHR free resources and share them with those who might benefit from them swhr.org/health_focus_a… Menopause is a life stage, not a disease, but you don't have to just suffer through the symptoms!

House GOP stopgap would fund the gov't through 3/28. Includes billions for disaster aid, Navy subs. Separately, GOP aims to pass a $3B bill to address a veterans' health funding shortfall. CR does not include more $$ to tackle the rest of that budget gap, which totals $12B.

We’d be honored and delighted to have your support - you, too, can help make women’s health mainstream!

"On this #NationalNonprofitDay, I want to extend a special request to invest in advancing women’s health. Now is the time to come together and close the gender gap," said SWHR CEO Katie Schubert @k8eschubert Consider supporting #WomensHealth today! swhr.org/donate/

🚨🚨 A recent survey in the UK showed that 60% of women over 40 felt uninformed about menopause, and nearly a third were “dreading it.” Menopause was… recently included in UK high school curriculum… HIGH SCHOOL. That’s awesome. bmj.com/content/386/bm…

The @SenateApprops Labor-H bill has some good stuff in it - more $ for women’s health research and support for the research initiative on women’s health in the report. Still going through it all, but positive. Thank you!
