Hi guys! I've finally built an MVP of analytics tool for #Shopify apps store. Meet shapper.xyz 🚀 You could track new apps, analyze merchants reviews and much more 📊🔍 Check it out now and feel free to leave a feature request or review in comments! #buildinpublic
Easy integration of LightningRails with @telegram mini apps API. It's so fast and easy to create mini apps using classic #Rails
upwork notifications system is so bad. for example if you want to find a job you need constantly refreshing the page. you can't subscribe to a custom search and get notified by email. lame. so new @telegram bot is coming. probably with mini app
Rails 8 is out! You can easily generate migrations with non-null values 🔥 github.com/rails/rails/re…
What tool do you use for time tracking as a freelancer? Do you even track your time?
People are thinking that TITANIUM is smth undestroyable. It’s not
Rails callbacks were a mistake. I’d better duplicate code rather than digging in all this mess. I don’t have enough discipline to keep callbacks not to complicated
dhh got the vibe! hope you’ll get it too. everything looks so elegant when you understand mechanics
levelsio: this is how I ship as a solo dev brainless fckn idiots: ARE YOU SAYING EVERY TEAM SHOULD SHIP LIKE THIS
Nobody gives a fuck about your code. Code is supposed to solve problems. Period. Good code? Fine. Bad code? Also fine until it works. ps. I don’t like shitty code tho
ceo jumped in and fixed everything. adorable
Our Shopify app just had this insanely concerning email sent out to our customers from Shopify. No warning to us to make changes to anything, no warnings in the partner account, no warnings in the Shopify stores, no warnings in the API status, no warnings on the app store,…
true
If you're building #shopify apps and struggling in tracking API changes there's a changelog for developers shopify.dev/changelog where all important notes are collected
THIS GUY SHIPS!!!1
I've finally found a solution created by @evilmartians! Meet github.com/DarthSim/overm…. It works exactly the same as foreman but starts processes in tmux sessions. So you can attach to them later. Luuuvly. Enjoy
How do you handle the situation when you need to put a binding.irb somewhere but rails is running in foreman with multiple processes. It stops but output is messing up because of sidekick/js/css,etc. and you need to run rails in another terminal to be able to type smth
I’ve finally bought @MSFTCopilot Why? Bc I needed to write 10 factory_bot factories and I’m too lazy. Worked quite nice with neovim btw
If you're building a swagger compatible API and you'd like to have a really nice documentation take a look at @scalar! They have good looking design, markdown support, endpoints search and awesome panel for testing requests
