Would you have preferred Kamala picked Josh Shapiro? "Oh absolutely, and here are all my enthusiastic reasons..." Okay so you have voted for her then? "...no." Your verdict on the "we can win over center-right voters" strategy, in a nutshell. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I've always assumed the average American bases their vote on vibes and emotions, but hard to stomach grown adults basically telling us "the vibes and emotions are controlling my body I don't even know what's happening"

Donald Trump has no greater friend than the far left, which has managed to alienate historic numbers of Latinos, Blacks, Asians, and Jews from the Democratic Party with absurdities like “Defund the Police” or “From the River to the Sea” or “Latinx.” There is more to lose than…

Are y’all people wishing harm on Palestinians & calling ICE on your neighbors, wishing harm on trans, Black & indigenous people too? Solidarity isn’t transactional “allyship” - we are actually ALL in this shit together -we fight the monster together. Don’t be the monster.

Music is art not sports. Music is art not sports. Music is art not sports. None of this matters. Abolish statistics-based fandom.

I'm a big believer in giving people space for whatever short-term reaction/coping mechanism they fall into at times like this, but I hope we can get past this "blaming George Clooney" phase sooner than later

This kind of talk is self-evidently preposterous and should not be reported as if it is coming from serious people.

Another House Dem aide gets in touch: “Our party must learn that outside of our tiny insular bubble, AOC is toxic to the Democratic brand with swing voters. Her primetime DNC speaking slot played directly into the narratives that lost us this election”

Yep, time to break from the left. Next time, Dems should try saying they'll do more to crack down on immigration than Republicans. Instead of "Defund the Police," run a prosecutor. Talk about having a gun and wanting a strong military instead of your identity. Just some ideas.

Louise Jordan on MSNBC: “The progressive era has to end if Democrats want to win again.”

I've been wrestling with my continued presence here, and @naima leaving feels like a sign... 🫤

Also, I'm wrapping up my time on X this week. I'll talk more about that later

Not sure what pithy conclusion to extract from it but walking around Manhattan in a t-shirt on Election Day, because it's over 70 degrees in mid-November, is certainly..something. 👀
