For all these folk having a go at Labour at the moment, where've you been these last FOURTEEN years? The mess in this country is the fault of one party & one party only...the Tories...but 'cos they were VOTED OUT by the country...Labour have a mandate to clean it up. Patience.

Brexit is trending. Call a General Election is trending. So let me get this straight. The right-wing loons want everyone to accept the Brexit vote, but we need to have another General Election - 4.5 mths after the last one. Hypocrites. #BBCBreakfast

''52,202 smartphones were snatched in London last year.'' That's almost one phone for each of the 53,190 residents of Clacton. The most common offences in Clacton are violence and sex crimes. Well done @Nigel_Farage 👏👏👏

People are too quick to weaponise gender (along with race) in politics. But Rachel Reeves qualified as an economist with a masters from the LSE, and earned a merit in the process. No man would have their qualifications questioned in this way. Ever.

But aren’t Barber Jackets are work wear (PPE) so tax deductible

My partner's previous employer used to plead poverty and say he didn't earn a decent wage. He put EVERYTHING through his business. School fees, house renovation, car, expenses, EVERYTHING. When people say they only earn 20k, that isn't the full story

I freely admit, after looking into the stats, I was left shaken. I had no idea British farming was in quite this bad shape. /end

I’m calling on all comedians to march against us paying inheritance tax. For us it’s not a job, it’s a way of life. The tax means my kids will have to sell everything if I die and their jokes will be lost forever. But I don’t expect you to understand that, Kier Starmer!!!

Tax due if parents hand on £3m house: £940k Tax due if parents hand on a £3m farm: £0 A reminder of significant tax advantage to farmers vs everyone else AFTER these changes

As C4 explains, children of single farmers with the average value of a farm (£2.2m) will pay £140k tax. It’s zero if the farmer is married. The govt plans mean farmers will receive a £1.5m tax free allowance. That’s £1m more than the most of the population.

What is the government’s policy on inheritance tax for farms and who will be affected? @c4ciaran has the latest from @FactCheck

johnny duffy Reposted

I wouldn’t mind if the farmers were out there fighting for no one to pay inheritance tax. But no, they’re fine with you paying it Just not them.

Yep- he promised to chuck you lot out of power 🤣🤣🤣

Has Keir Starmer ever kept a promise he's made?

The cognitive dissonance in the comments section is off the scale! Their brains are self combusting with the news that LABOUR are actually deporting immigrants who have no right to be here - in greater numbers than the Tories ever achieved It’s called a functioning government👍🏻

Tory world view People with farms worth over £3 million ask to pay inheritance tax the same as every other business = Cruel. Child poverty, food banks, no fault evictions, homelessness, hungry children, record NHS waiting lists, deminishing life expectancy = not cruel

🤣🤣🤣

Farmers should be exempt, because they don't want to pay it. I see. 🤔.
