THIS is what democracy SHOULD look like: elected officials from different parties working together. 💕Thanks Rachel Baker & @AndreaWhite2020 for transcending partisanship to protect ALL OHIO NURSES! @ohionursesassoc instagram.com/p/DCnHIJxAN6B/…
As a seasoned poll worker, I got to discuss the nuances in new Ohio voter ID requirements with Secretary of State, @FrankLaRose at @WarpedWing He reminded everyone that poll workers are volunteers, who are also your neighbors, and urged- Pls be patient & kind to PWs on Nov 5! 🇺🇸
Know where your vote can really change things in your neighborhood or school district? It's in the races for mysterious jobs like Clerk of Courts. We need someone to accurately track and share what happens in our courts, and I think my friend Lynn Cooper will be great at it!
I was super-chuffed to attend an event in Cincinnati with some @ANANursingWorld -Ohio pals where we heard from the amazing, Dr. Amy Acton! She was enthused about @Vot_ER_org , so I gave her my badge & lanyard. If you want your own Vot-ER badge kit, visit vot-er.org/badge/

There are 5 million Registered (ie eligible to practice) Nurses in the USA-more than ever. Also there's a chronic "shortage" of nurses willing to work in hospitals & nursing homes. Hospital Associations insist it's a supply prob. Do you believe them? bit.ly/ONA-NurseStaff…

Whistle blowing has too long been an isolating and dangerous undertaking, yet the public largely relies on self-sacrificing individuals to reveal crucial information that ought not to have been secret in the first place. @wendellpotter and friends are working to change this.

What a surprising relief that the "Right to Life" movement that that's driving the August special election in Ohio is finally claiming responsibility.
