Amazing team setting up for the staff engagement event at @LandDHospital today. Really fab session supporting staff. We have representatives from 101 countries in our team and celebrating that is invaluable ❤️

I love that aggravated offences for ALL strands of hate crime and enacting the socio-economic duty within the Equality Act have made it into @UKLabour manifesto. When I worked in EDI I found them to be massive omissions that had a genuine, negative, impact on people's lives.x🌹x

Well done to everyone involved in this, a really great job.x

This week we officially opened our Energy Centre. Upgrading our site- electrical infrastructure has provided resilience to heating and hot water services. The opening allowed us the opportunity to thank the hard work of our Redevelopment and Estates team.

Loved that I got to introduce the kids to a winning United today, it’s been a long time, but it still feels just as good ❤️

HOW GOOD DID THAT FEEL?! 🏆🔴

Ok, I’m not gonna lie, I am delighted that I’m not on the front line of yet another snap GE. But, MK, there are 3 phenomenal superstars who are standing @chriscurtis94 @emily4MK and @_CallumAnderson will all represent our fantastic City and be absolutely brilliant MPs.x🌹x

#Auroraborealis over Milton Keynes. Feeling very lucky to have witnessed this ❤️

So, some news, this happened today.x🌹x

This is really important. My step daughter recently got into trouble at school for telling a boy, who had made misogynistic comments about girls in sport, to ‘shut up’ the boy was not reprimanded 🤷‍♀️

Misogyny is a scourge — in classrooms and playgrounds, on our streets, across our society. It wrecks lives and relationships, damages individuals, and scars society. Labour is determined to defeat it and we will start in our schools: a thread 🧵: theguardian.com/education/2024…

I’ve just been to see Jesus Christ Superstar @MKTheatre I’d never seen it before and was a tad apprehensive but I can safely say it was phenomenal, just absolutely brilliant! Highly recommend to any MK folks.xx

Maybe someone can help: Normally, this time of year, my little urban lawn is covered in holes and alive with 100's of ivy mining bees. Only about 3 so far this year. Are they just late or did that horrible long, cold winter do serious damage to my bees? @britishbee

So I had covid pretty bad 2 weeks ago. Now getting weird neurological things happening, obviously foggy head and tiredness but has anyone else had memories jumble up and memories that aren't real and something like déjà vu but not quite déjà vu? Probably not explaining well 🤦‍♀️

Loved watching the Roses over the last few days! Not the ending we hoped for but blimey they did fantastically well! They gave me a tip or two for my Sunday game and, more importantly, inspired mine and many other girls who trudge out onto netball courts come rain or shine❤️

Not to be. 💔 The Vitality Roses battled all the way in their first ever World Cup final, but Australia secure a 12th title. #NWC2023 l @NetballWorldCup

This was a sad day in our house. Obviously wherever my amazing little bro ends up will get our support and I wish him the most fantastic success, but the foxes will always have a very special place in our family's heart and I think the youngest girl is a fan for life.x

This post is unavailable.

I’ve finally been to see this amazing exhibition! I would recommend to anyone but especially 80’s born Milton Keyners……..there is a comforting familiarity about their work, the whisp of an ever present memory of being a child in our fabulous City ❤️

Just watched this interview. Absolutely heartbreaking. So brave for @dele_official to take the time to talk publicly about his past and mental health, he will have done so much good. We in Milton Keynes should be very, very proud of him ❤️

I’m struggling to find the words to put with this post but please watch my most recent interview with Dele. It’s the most emotional, difficult yet inspirational conversation I’ve ever had in my life. Watch the interview on @wearetheoverlap here youtu.be/LyDL9EUIdy0

This is why meaningful integration between health and local authorities. at place, is so critical and why we absolutely need public health functions fully and properly funded.

The NHS was never meant to go it alone when it comes to building a healthy society. Good health is also dependent on factors such as stable jobs, good pay, quality housing and good education. @JoBibbyTHF reflects how these are crucial to our health ⬇️ health.org.uk/news-and-comme…

Heartbroken for Cav, what a cyclist though and what a record. He'll always be one of my faves ❤️💔

Today, as we celebrate #NHS75, I had the opportunity to spend the afternoon with amazing clinicians and staff at MK Urgent Care, where I'm Chair. Hearing their passion, dedication and plans reminded me how lucky we are and how we must defend the NHS and those working within it.

So, after a three and a half year, post GE 2019, break I got back out onto the #labourdoorstep tonight! Massive thanks to @_legg10 @LaurenJTownsend and @uday_nagaraju for letting me tag along, I'll come again ❤️

Great to see this highlighted! We now find ourselves cutting corners and buying as little GF as we can for the rest of the family because it’s much cheaper. Higher risk of cross contamination and therefore higher risk of me having a ‘gluten attack’ and being quite poorly 🤷‍♀️

The Cost of Gluten Free Food on TV 🍞 Fab piece of coverage on @itvnews regional programmes last night featuring @C_Burke5 & @Coeliac_UK 🧡 Not that we didn't already know.. but gluten free food is too expensive! Definitely take a watch. What do you think? 🤔
