This year, we celebrate the 24th anniversary of the adoption of the Women, Peace, and Security Agenda. At the heart of this agenda is an undeniable truth: When we empower women and girls, we make peace and security more lasting for all.

As we commemorate @UN SCR 1325, we reaffirm our commitment to #WomenPeaceSecurity. Civilian women & children suffer most in conflicts. Peacekeeping operations help protect their rights and support women-led initiatives. Peace processes must include their voices.
