‼️ Here I am officially launching the #ScientistsAgainstGenocideEncampment at #MIT site, which clearly communicates the demand from students and workers at MIT to end research & development with and divest from the Israeli military immediately. Read + RT! mitsage.my.canva.site
In 1987, the MIT Coalition Against Apartheid protested against MIT's ties to apartheid South Africa by erecting a shantytown. Today, in the same location, students are protesting MIT's ties to genocide & apartheid in Palestine via the Scientists Against Genocide encampment. 🇵🇸
MIT Coalition for Palestine announces the start of Scientists Against Genocide encampment and will remain on Kresge Lawn until MIT meets demands to disclose and cut research ties with Israel, drop charges against student organizers, and call for a ceasefire!
