California put me in solitary for refusing to work for free. They tortured me until I was willing to be their slave.
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — California voters reject proposed ban on forced prison labor.
you're not getting put into a camp. there are groups who are in real danger of getting put into camps and they're sleeping on benches and under awnings, and you're not gonna say much of anything when they're carried away.

a comrade recently said "everyone is more afraid to live in a failing empire than to take action against it" & that is the best response I have heard to seeing all kinds of supposed radicals trying to legitimate voting for genocidaires.
📢 LA TIMES EDITORIAL TELLING IT LIKE IT IS! As I said before: "We're NOT in a recession. This is NOT COVID. This is a Budget Deficit that we made here in CITY HALL" 💰 Article: latimes.com/opinion/story/…
Even if Lexis was only detained and not arrested, the message is meant to have a chilling effect on journalists observing these kinds of sweeps. What's more is that Lexis has consistently been singled out as a journalist of color while trying to hold city employees accountable.
After I was handcuffed and held in an LAPD patrol car for around 40 minutes for filming a sweep, Sgt. Hutchins explained that I was "detained" and not "arrested" because he determined "there wasn't a violation of the LMC code" due to my "media 1st Amendment status." @LATACO
UPDATE: @ShotOn35mm is out now. No arrest, no citation. Just handcuffed in the back of the car for 45 minutes and eventually released.
I'm out of LAPD custody and safe now. Thank you to Adam for being there and getting the word out quickly. And to my team @LATACO for dropping everything to support me 💚. I'm still in shock. Will have more to say later.
LAPD and the city have repeatedly prevented @ShotOn35mm from doing his job as a journalist reporting on sweeps in the city. This comes after @ACLU_SoCal and @FACoalition wrote to the dept that they have no legal basis to do so. This will not end well for the LAPD or the city.
Reporter from @lataco, @ShotOn35mm being arrested at a sweep on 6th/Towne
Last week @LACANetwork sued @kdeleon Today, for the first time since July, the City's sweep team, including 14 LAPD, came to our block first. #FuckKDL
Happy Wednesday everyone, here is a long-form story about how persistently bad the Los Angeles jails have been since at least the 1700s. It was extremely depressing to write. latimes.com/california/sto…
This should be plastered everywhere immediately
People are flying their own helicopters in and actively rescuing people in NC and local government officials are threatening them with arrest. You don’t hate your government enough.
They are putting my art in shows this year I am unstoppable
The phrase “most people” was mainstreamed to remove the burden of public health from the govt and place it on the Individual during COVID by INVITING you to imagine yourself as part of a superior class of human- the class that matters. dehumanization of the vulnerable continues
Well, a public health push notification was just sent out

Here’s my Signal. My editor missed the typo in the tweet. Still looking to talk with students, faculty, and anyone involved with orgs on campus for a story about UC approving military equipment purchases!
Looking to talk with UC students, faculty, and student orgs about today’s vote for more police weapons and drones at UC campuses. DM, comment, or hit me up on Signal: joeyneverjoe.69.m
Compare the NYPD characterization to the actual moment when they opened fire on him.
