Had a great time presenting my research at the @LTSJournal conference: "Let's Talk About Class"... and we definitely did! I shared findings from a perceptual study designed to build a database of stimuli, normed for representations of social class and personality traits. (1)

I showed results of statistical findings, where biases were found between populations. With some very interesting results of non-binary participants showing sig. less biases of social class and judgements of individuals. Hoping to work with @RShawHawkins more on this! (2)

🙌 Really looking forward to this

In 'Let's Talk about "Class"', Lucy Jackson raises pertinent questions about perceptions of social class and personality traits in UK society. How might an empirical account of these biases help us talk about class? And might it shape real-time social evaluations of speech?

I've just gotten home from @Lavlang #lavlang30, and am still riding such a high from how positive this conference was. I'll share more thoughts after I've slept (so many fantastic scholars to follow too!) but for now, thank you @william_leap for creating something truly special.
