“The unfortunate reality however is that we the small island developing states who contribute the least to this climate crisis are suffering the most yet still benefiting the least from the funds earmarked for climate action. The @FAO must lead in changing this reality.”

At our Diaspora Conference we launched the Eat Jamaican Global campaign indicating that this November we would start the process of taking the message on the road. First Stop! #EatJamaican

As we brace for more rain, some advice for our livestock farmers from Maxine Brown

Starting the morning with the team at @CVMTV in a few. #Sunrise #EatJamaican #SayYesToFresh

Tips to treat with crop recovery after excessive rainfall. Thanks to Lady Webb and team @rada_jam

The rain really can give we a break now .. honestly

#HurricaneBerylRecovery With the help of @gracefoods we are purchasing a generator for our Hunslow 1 facility to ensure that whenever we lose electricity we can still keep our farmers supplied with water. We are not just recovering, we are recovering better and stronger.

Thankfully no lives were lost but our road network took a battering right across the constituency. We will work to have them repaired. #TSRafael

Our Rada teams have already been dispatched across multiple parishes to assess damage from TS Rafael. Parish Mangers have also been advised to make Fungicides available for our most impacted vegetable farmers to ward off fungal and bacterial diseases.
