The winter solstice! Which means that the days will be getting longer and the nights shorter. Yippee!!

Today is holly hedge trimming day. Very high and very long. There are three men in various states of bloodiness, hands and faces nicked by tiny, sharp, flying green bits!!
Today and for the next few days, it's woodland management at Firwood. There is a very agile and very capable arboriculturalist climbing trees, taking down dead and broken limbs, thinning out ivy... facebook.com/story.php?stor…
