We are looking for master, PhD, and postdoc individuals that would be interested by a project with fish, food-web and winter ecology project in Canada. Experience with telemetry and/or isotopes will be a great asset! If interested, DM me :)

Had the privilege of making the annual trek up to @USFWS Sullivan Creek National Fish Hatchery. Able to help with the Lake Trout egg take and cross over 200 pairs of fish. We also collected additional eggs for a pilot project on cortisol. Always a joy to see the facility.

Arrived in Montreal for #Evol2024 only to be held up by climate protestors that have glued themselves to the airport road. Police rerouted cars through the parking garage system, so the protestors appear to be succeeding in holding up…all the people taking public transit 👀

Truly an honor to get meet and chat about #GreatLakes science and @LampreyControl with Secretary Haaland ☺️🐟

Our scientists at @USGS leverage @POTUS’s Bipartisan Infrastructure Law funding to safeguard vital ecosystems. I met with Great Lakes Science Center officials in Michigan to discuss tools to combat aquatic invasive species in the region like the sea lamprey.
