Quite proud I managed to give an explanation why Zhou Yuelong is my favourite player which is more detailed and nuanced than just stating that it somehow happened but I also didn't get carried away either. 3 tweets summary. 👌
Zhou Yuelong He was one of the first 'new' faces I saw when coming back to snooker and instantly liked him. Very good young player with a cool temperament. Later I got a little bit more excited about him after an epic match and a good run of form.
Maybe I'm reading too much into this, but the news does seem tone-deaf to me for announcing just 5 days after Mark King's suspension relating to match-fixing via betting.

Liu Hongyu beating Lyu Haotian went a bit under the radar with all those thing ongoing tonight. Lyu's had a subpar season. Liu Hongyu is a great talent who's had a great semifinal run a year ago, but overall hasn't really shown what he can do. Maybe this/the next week... ?

After Oli Lines and Pang Junxu had gone out, I'm happy that He Guoqiang completed his comeback tonight successfully. Looked good in the last frames, but in the decider he was helped a bit by fluked snooker and McGill subsequently channeling his inner Maguire.

The other decider hasn't gone my way. 😫 He Guoqiang with a very good chance on the other though. And the decider in the match where I'm 100% neutral is still going on too. Stream went black, but it's back again.
Bai Yulu has done it again. 😃 🙌 Really good comeback, absolutely brilliant in the decider. I'm so happy for her. All fingers crossed for a possible 4th win on Judgement Day. Won't get any easier I'm afraid.
Xu Si v Chris Totten has had late night finish written over it right from the start, but I have to say they haven't been slow. They reached the decider round about the same time as Robertson and Lines and there are a few matches with less than 10 frames played by now.
What a shame, Pang has had a really good season so far, I was hoping he could kick on from their, but that result is a bit of a blow. Cool victory for Stan Moody though. Who's continuing his fine run of annoying me by beating players I like. 😂
