There's no answer to whether a specialist SEN school is "better" than a mainstream school for pupils with additional needs, because there's no catch-all solution for every student. I personally went to a mainstream school, because my parents didn't think I would benefit (1/?)

Matthew Stevens played pretty well tonight, but ran into a buzzsaw in @nr147 . Great match between two quality players

HOLTY!!!! @hitmanholt Get in there! Back on the main stage where you belong

"That shot (from Michael Holt) was one of the shots of the event... A hotshot" Was that... a reference to my YT channel? (Probably not but nice to dream)

Robertson 3-1 up on nobody at the interval, considering most people appear to believe he's already qualified for the Barbican, he mustn't have an opponent tonight

What a run this is, hugely impressed

Sensational from Bai Yulu!! She comes back from 5-3 down to defeat Scott Donaldson 6-5 making a brilliant match winning break of 70 in the decider👏 The women’s world champion is one win away from making history and qualifying for the UK Championship. #Snooker

Don't do this to me Matthew

It's a good point, it's not like Jak's been out R1 in every event, feels like they're trying not to make new stars for the game

Haha, we've all heard Kyren complain about the TV table exposure he's gotten since becoming world champion. But the runner-up gets snubbed even more. Not only they chose a lower ranked player for the free streamed match tonight, they also moved him into this session to do so. 😂

I'm going to enjoy every moment of being at the Crucible for the three years it has left before the sport is moved to where none of us can see it

In the Flo

A HUGE win for Florian Nuessle! The Austrian amateur beats former Welsh Open champion Jordan Brown to reach QR3! 🔥 #UKChampionship | @Victorianplumb | @Flo_Snooker

I'm sort of not surprised too much by this, she's a huge talent who just needs confidence and experience

SHE'S DONE IT! 🔥 Bai Yulu claims a HUGE WIN over Jamie Jones, a former Crucible Quarter-Finalist, 6-4! She reaches the third qualifying round for the @Victorianplumb UK Championship!

David Lilley misses the BLUE for a 147, against Liam Davies, who just the other day missed the PINK for one!

Great wins today for Florian Nuessele (I apologise for my probable spelling faux pas) and Oliver Sykes, 6-2 over Jordan Brown and 6-3 over Stuart Carrington respectively, flying the amateur flag in QR3. Flo takes on Fan Zhengyi next, Sykes vs. Stuart Bingham

Michael Holt came to play today, 5 breaks of 76 or above in a 6-3 win in what looked like a pretty difficult draw against Steven Hallworth

Erm... how does it hold the cue? (And if anyone answers "Electromagnetism", explain how it plays a shot apart from ramming into it which would almost certainly be a push shot

This is a legit attempt at journalism so I'll give them some help. If Xiao (Ronnie's opponent) was 318-0 down in a frame, he would need a MINIMUM of 171 penalty points. The maximum penalty points from one shot is 7, so he would need to give away 25 7 points fouls AT LEAST.

Ronnie O'Sullivan knocked out of Champion of Champions despite holding 318-0 lead in dramatic final frame gbnews.com/sport/snooker/…

Say what you want about the fluke, but the way Xiao hit the green was beautiful

This 4th frame will be all important, Xiao urgently needs something here. If he goes to 3-1, he'll have happy memories of his win earlier. If it goes 4-0, probably no way back

I'm 28 and I still have times I feel like this. Sometimes Snooker is my only solace, and sometimes even it doesn't work (that's when you know it's BAD)

I wonder how many men feel this way

Fascinated how wrong Xiao hit that plant, I didn't think it COULD miss

There's a certain surgeon-like quality to Mark Selby's break building
