Theme of National Drugs Forum tomorrow is responding to emerging drug trends, a key issue is ensuring that people who use drugs are at the centre of our response through their national network UISCE #NationalDrugsForum24 @myuisce @hrbireland @nickikilleen

It is very hard to understand this - is it really possible that the Taoiseach is unaware of the work done & Report produced by Citizens Assembly on Drugs? And the work done & Report produced by Oireachtas Committee on Drugs of which Fine Gael was a member?

There are no benefits to criminalising people who use drugs, it does not deter or decrease drug use, what it does do is increase harms & waste resources. Way past time to end the moral judgment policy & put in place a policy based on analysis & evidence

Simple question for election candidates. If you discovered someone you love had an addiction issue - would you call the Guards on them? #DECRIM

Sorry, what!? Will @FineGael repudiate the findings of the Citizen's Assembly on Drugs and the Interim Report of the Oireachtas Committee on Drugs which recommended this approach? Five years of gov mandated work on reform to decriminalise the person and achieve better outcomes .

Astonished to see @fiannafailparty commit to decriminalise personal possession of ALL drugs in their manifesto today. Is this a mistake? Can Fianna Fáil clarify if it really intends include serious, dangerous and highly-addictive substances? #GE24

It's decriminalisation of the person as per the Joint Oireachtas Committee Report, which includes your FG colleagues. It's what the Citizens Assembly endorsed, along with many many people who deal with those in addiction. It's a health led approach. @drugscrisis @tonyduffin
