There are other free agents out there too some guys in the farm system that should be in the major leagues
No, they are not. They have big decisions to make regardless. Juan Soto is a free agent. They could lose their second baseman. They could lose their first baseman. They could lose relievers. They have a ton of work ahead of them win or lose.
