We had some truly great times at this office: xtc, clojurebridge, playing music, hosting talks, long lunches on the terrace. We managed to get some work done as well. ❤️ While we're sad to let go, we're also super excited to begin our next adventure as a fully remote company! 🎊

Let there be creativity, let there be light! ♥️ @withloveaal made these gorgeous lamps from crepe paper and wire for <$5

After 7 years at @nilenso , I’m looking for my next role! I've worked with multiple languages and stacks, in complex microservices environments at scale as well as zero-to-one teams. I’d like to move to London, so I'm in search of opportunities there. Please RT 🙏

Always wanted to learn Clojure but didn't know where to start? ClojureBridge is a free, beginner-friendly workshop that's happening in Bangalore on 30th September. Please retweet for reach!

📢 We are announcing the fourth edition of #clojurebridge Bangalore: a fun, beginner-friendly and free Clojure workshop for women and non-binary folks. RSVP here: meetup.com/meetup-group-j… RT appreciated! :)

I was on a podcast about @nilenso with @deobald! Listen to the episode on: workwisepod.com/episodes/democ… Thanks for the stimulating conversation, Deepak and Sujatha

What books would you recommend to a web developer looking to learn more about sales (in a consulting context) and running an org? Thanks! P.S. This person being a web dev probably doesn't matter, but do share if there's any material out there tailored to this audience.

Today on the blog: we welcome as our guest @asymptotic_io’s Arun Raghavan, who offers a fascinating look at the GStreamer pipeline in Daily’s approach to media streaming and recording: buff.ly/3cFZhU2

If you're looking for help with your @gstreamer or @PipewireP projects, reach out to @asymptotic_io! 🧐

We've done some exciting work using @gstreamer in the backend with the lovely team at @trydaily Read all about it at: asymptotic.io/blog/gstreamer…

Hello good people of Twitter! Could you recommend a few good work-from-anywhere policies? We're trying to figure out if @nilenso can sponsor travel, stay and living expenses for people who want to embrace workations more this year. Is this feasible?

The productivity loss from #RBI's new emandate is immeasurable. All of our energies have been redirected towards figuring out how to pay for the subscription services we use, rather than on our business. Regulation that interrupts service is actively harmful.

* Collective ownership (no bosses) * <35 work week, no weekend work * Unlimited learning budget * Physical and mental health coverage including tie-ups for therapy * 6mo parental leave (un-gendered) * No questions asked menstrual leave @nilenso

Name any employee-friendly policy in your, or any other startup/large org, that's super helpful/really cool. Ex: Unlimited sick leaves, work from anywhere, No meetings on Fridays etc...

After 4 years of pouring my heart and soul into Simple.org, I've decided it's time for new challenge. I'm excited to explore leadership opportunities with companies building things that matter for humans that value them. Learn about me and what I'm looking for: 🧵

Heart disease and strokes are the leading causes of death in many parts of the world. That's why initiatives like @ResolveTSL and Simple.org are so important. ❤️

On a global poll by @gapminder, 45% guessed AIDS, 43% guessed war, and 11% guessed the correct answer: heart disease and strokes. War was the most wrong, since it causes only 0.3% of deaths in Africa.

Heya @timcheadle, @dburka, @SrihariSriraman, @twomogambo have you seen this?

Rails got left-padded! The build of every single rails app on the planet is now failing as a dependency got yanked and relicensed under GPL😬 github.com/rails/rails/is…

We're currently at 2-1 Male-Female @asymptotic_io, and are looking to balance it out. If you're excited about working on multimedia or low level systems software, get in touch! asymptotic.io/careers/ #womenintech
