react is so much better when you use it only as a view layer and manage your state externally after 2 days of dev I got frustrated enough with context and hooks to move my state logic into mobx-state-tree way cleaner and only the needed parts rerender

Legend Kit is officially live! If you preordered you should have gotten an email with your license code. I started it with a few tools that I’ve used in my apps. And now that the infra is set up I can add a lot more! Please let me know what tools would help you ❤️

react native bottom sheet now works on web too 🎉. So good to see more libraries becoming universal. Besides that you get: - dynamic sizing. On current version you had to trigger snap points when content changed. Not anymore. - Very generously of Mo release Flashlist integration…

Finally after couple of months, i got the time to wrap up the Bottom Sheet v5 stable release 🔥 This release comes with multiple features and improvements for core functionalities of the library: 🧵 gorhom.dev/react-native-b… #oss #reactnative

After months of development, I want to share a small sneak peek of Unistyles 3.0 with you. 😇 No re-renders, no hooks, just pure native styling 🦄

Update on Unistyles 3.0: - I'm currently focusing on creating the beta version for iOS - I've migrated most of the old code to Nitro Modules - I'm nearly finished converting the Obj-C code to Swift - I'm still figuring out the best approach to reference the user theme from C++ -…

I’ve begun transitioning Unistyles’ C++ core to Nitro Modules by @mrousavy My goal is to save precious milliseconds and provide you with the fastest runtime parser for React Native. But that’s not all! Unistyles 3 will feature a minimal JS wrapper, with the entire codebase…

Working on an all new way to write native code for React Native. "Nitro Modules" will provide first-class Swift support, insanely fast C++ bindings, object-oriented/instance-based approach, and much more coming soon! stay tuned 👀🤫

☀️ The #1 @solana wallet in the world is @Phantom It's used by over 5 million people and their android/iOS apps are built with Expo. Check out the clip below to learn how they leverage EAS Build so nobody has to worry about Xcode or Android Studio...😅

This is how you can start building with Rise!

Building a test suite for React Native WebGPU. We run it against Google Chrome first to build the reference results. And then iOS/Android for the actual e2e testing.

Successfully moved parsing of your app's stylesheets to C++ 🔥 During runtime, Unistyles will manage and update only selected styles from stylesheet, based on events like changes in insets, themes, variants, etc. This is a huge milestone for Unistyles and RN ecosystem! 🦄

Dan Tamas Reposted

A huge update for foldables, tablets, and insets is coming to Unistyles! 🙌🦄 I will soon release a new beta version, one of the biggest updates since version 2.0.0.

We have tentatively decided to add support for Node-API to a future version of Static Hermes. When I say a "future version", I mean that it isn't our highest priority, but we will do it as soon as we can. Meanwhile, PRs for it against Static Hermes or Hermes are welcome.

Have you ever seen this error? 👀 Usually, it appears when you forget to add '𝚠𝚘𝚛𝚔𝚕𝚎𝚝'; directive. But where? I've submitted a PR that includes the function name in the error message so you can easily find the offending function 🕵️ Better developer experience! 😊

I can't believe MSW 2.0 is not even half a year old and it's such a huge leap forward I don't ever want to go back to the v1 era of MSW. This is what a good technology feels like. Migrate to v2 today: mswjs.io/docs/migration…

Can we have an industry standard to specify that a file has been auto generated? Then make text editors to warn you when editing it and disable formatting / linting them. Could be just a comment on the first line with a specific format. Could even tell the user which command to…

It's just me or the 'html.div' feels off somehow? I really like how RNW is making web align to native and not the other way round 😅 (react-strict-dom)
