Just watched the lady in front of me at the DMV give a USB stick to the clerk and say that all of her proofs of ID were “digital”. The clerk proceeded to plug in the USB and copy the files to his desktop, then open them. 1st) I’m curious if she is in the job market. 2nd)

Me reading some of you: wow, that person is so smart, I wish I understood that thing Also me: wait, I can just do that! Go learn about the thing None of us need permission or certs or CVEs or a degree to learn from others & share our skills and knowledge. We can all do that. 💕

Moral of today’s story, network admins and engineers battle gremlins, show me a network and I’ll show you gremlins. If you don’t cause a network outage in your career you are either lucky or lying. Buy your network engineer a beverage of their choice (coffee, beer, tea, water)
