Sad news that Jerry Miller the lead guitarist of Moby Grape has died. He was performing every week until a day before he died. He was an exceptional player and had a great voice. Those who have followed me know how much I love Moby Grape. So she’d a tear with me.
I wrote liner notes for this forthcoming Lowell George tribute being released on May 17th. Dave Alvin and a cast of dozens contributed. More info to come.
Back in 2001, Karl Wallinger was a guest on Jammin' on @BBCRadio2 and he performed this version of 'She's The One' about Robbie Williams (and I was very proud to have helped Karl write the new lyrics and deepen their feud). RIP a wonderful musician and lovely man.
