It's been a long time coming, but simulating blowing snow at a snowdrift-permitting resolution over 1.3M km^2 spatial extents is now possible with CHM. I've presented these results at the @GWFutures meeting and next week at @CWRA_Flows A🧵 on what was needed

Wayne Rouse was a driving force on my committee during my MSc and PhD. He cared deeply about Canada’s north, climate change, and everyone he met. Much of his work was ‘pre internet’ and now overlooked. Looking back, Wayne was far ahead of the curve in every way. Remember him.
