With the strong #BlackLivesMatter and #IndigenousLivesMatter movements, I thought I'd help by addressing some of the popularized misconceptions around Indigenous people and prairie farming. We know that serious systemic racism exists, and it exists strongly in ag communities.

When you live rural, it can be hard to connect with others who understand the difficulty of navigating mental health concerns. The @domoreag #AgTalk platform helps build much-needed connections to learn, share, grow, and heal: domore.ag/agtalk

Wow! Amazing!

The little man won the competition with his own costume.

Had an impromptu chat (at the #coop gas station) with the manager about rural mental health. Her first point: help the helpers (family, friends). Also: the need is FAR larger than is available; as stigma slowly starts to break, more people will ask for help. #rural #mentalhealth

(I forgot the name of the character. But I know it now). Ceroba, from Undertale Yellow. My 22 year old son picked the picture and did all the carving — which took him 6.5 hours to do. @GarthMassie and I are in awe of the DaVinci we brought into this world…

Wishing each and every one of you a fantastic day. My go-to things when life is changing fast: Go outside. Do something creative. Wear comfy clothes. Be with a friend (which could include a pet). Take time for yourself. Reflect on the good things in your life. ♥️
