So got a setback this week, after 14 months of clear scans and no treatment, latest scans show a handful of new but small tumours, still contained. Looks like chemo starts next week. The sun’s out, it’s spring, we are ok, strong and still kicking. Don’t let me down tonight Leeds
Tired of the media filled with endless ‘what if’ scenarios. Surely we all know enough about how a virus spreads and can balance that with risk, necessity and want? All about common sense for me...and btw the virus won’t care that your dad is actually the landlord of the pub too!
So after much deliberation, the general consensus by the various docs is that my condition is pretty stable despite not having a drop of treatment since December. Thank you Leeds Utd for delivering the impossible dream and I’m doing my best to deliver my own. Cheers all

Scan results yesterday. It seems the cancer is behaving itself and things look stable enough to take a break from the bucket loads of chemo I’ve had over last two years. Easter is the next checkpoint. Part way to my impossible dream so Leeds United it’s your turn now!
