A stunning addition to the @CapMetroATX fleet 🤩

In honor of #InternationalWomensDay, we're proud to unveil the #WomensHistoryMonth bus by @GarzigDesign It's bold and demands recognition, much like the achievements of women across the globe. Let's continue to uplift and empower #genderequality. #IWD2023

The @austinparksfdn ordered some beautiful weather for Its My Park Day in #ATX. The CapMetro crew (& family!) helped pull weeds, pick up trash and mulch the Colony Park District Park ☘️🛝☀️

Important stat to keep in mind this weekend… Texas football is 8-1 following Taylor Swift's album drops dating back to 2006. The Longhorns are -6.5 point favorites against Oklahoma State on Saturday. #Hookem🤘 #MidnightsTaylorSwift

Love this! "Little dude" looks so amazed riding @CapMetroATX 🚌. Thx for sharing this photo & for being #CapMetro customers! Remember, kids may remain in strollers while on board the bus, as long as there's an adult in control of the stroller😉! Keep the pictures coming, y'all!

A shortage of building materials like steel and concrete is driving up costs for Texas Department of Transportation road projects and could delay some construction contracts. | @KUTnathan kutne.ws/3vFZo7p

I live near here and it already looks so good & I'm loving my recent neighborhood walks. Can't wait for this one to be completed! Thanks @austinmobility & @austintexasgov

Last night paving. Tonight striping. We're almost there. The intersection of Cherrywood and Manor roads will be marked beginning at 7 p.m., and likely done by midnight. Use caution and take it slow when traveling through the area tonight.

Arrived at @AUStinAirport at 6:45 for a 9am flight & it was smooth sailing through security! 🛫 No wait with TSA precheck & lots of AUS staff helping people. With my extra time I’m exploring the new south end of the terminal (lots of art & people watching 👀) AUS ➡️ BNA

While @TheLBJSchool I wrote about programs like this in Europe & the benefits they provide transit riders, particularly women & vulnerable populations. So proud to work for @CapMetroATX!

(1/3) We’re beginning a Courtesy Stop Pilot Program allowing customers to request a drop off between regular stops. Available on all #MetroBus & #MetroRapid routes after 9pm, this pilot gives customers a chance to select a safe drop-off location closer to their final stop.

Of course we couldn't let @USDOT @SecretaryPete leave town without grabbing some breakfast tacos. #CapMetro staff from across the agency shared transit knowledge from their departments on public safety, emerging technology and community outreach. We'll see you next time, Pete!

.@KimberlySlaugh7: we need people who are artists, historians, etc to see themselves in #transit industry. We need their diverse voices. We need (& benefit from) diversity. We need to recruit at all schools & communities, not just top colleges. We need to do it all. #aptaleg22

Avoiding the after lunch 😴 w/ @CapMetroATX’s Erika Mazza who’s leading a discussion on workforce development. SO important & complex in today’s world. We need passionate, creative(!), thoughtful people to deliver #transit service & projects for our communities. #aptaleg22

A great start to @APTA_Transit legislative conference in DC (though I could’ve done w/out the late season snow!). It’s so nice to meet all my new transit-loving colleagues 🚌❤️ Kicking off the morning of day 2 w/ @SecretaryPete! It’s so nice to have a pro-transit administration👏
