Today, on #NationalPhilanthropyDay, we echo Barbara's words & extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported CARE Canada’s mission. Your generosity helps women & girls around the world lift themselves & their families out of poverty & lead them through crisis.

Yesterday, I had the privilege of honouring the incredible women worldwide leading in emergencies & the donors supporting their work. On #PhilanthropyDay, I celebrate the vital contributions of people & orgs investing in these women. Your support makes this work possible.🧡

Extreme weather events are more frequent and severe. Floods, wildfires, and droughts, cost billions in damages, disruptions to livelihoods, human casualties. Inaction means degraded ecosystems, diminished agricultural productivity/natural resources, and food insecurity. #COP29
