So, after 24.5 years with CD-adapco / Siemens, tomorrow morning I'm going "back on the spanners" with @CaterpillarInc in Peterborough as a Senior Thermofluids Engineer. Instead of talking about engineering it's a wonderful opportunity to do some hardcore problem solving for a…

This morning I ran my 250th parkrun at the 250th running of my beloved @pocketparkrun Since we started in June 2018, 8754 have run / jogged / walked 44428 5k parkruns. Thanks to @huntsdc for funding us and giving us the permission to use their land. @parkrunUK

And just like that 24.5 years as a (CD-adapco &) Siemens employee is over. Excited for the new challenges and opportunities ahead...

Young people will never understand the struggle:

I’ve seen things you people wouldn’t believe. Gopher, Netscape with frames, the first browser wars. Searching with AltaVista, pop-up windows self-replicating, trying to uninstall RealPlayer. The blue screen of death. All these moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.

Let’s hope Jen goes to jail for a long time.

High quality version with audio. He was talking to someone on his airpods. She's 23 year old Jennifer Guilbeault & she was fired from her job as a PR assistant at D. Pagan Communications. She has been indicted for the following charges: • Second Degree Assault (Hate crime) •…

Sorry Steve, but from about 2015 to 2021 there were opportunities to bring good alternatives forwards. That didn’t happen and there followed another four years of not offering an alternative to serious issues faced by Cambridge. Being proud of stopping something, ignoring the…

Really saddened that ITV will not be able to show Le Tour after next year. Its history on ITV goes back almost 60 years when it started on London Weekend TV with David Saunders. Big thoughts to @millarmind and @nedboulting

It's radio listening figures day folks and the big bosses at the BBC are succeeding in their mission to ruin local radio. BBC Cambs now has just 65 thousand listeners a week, down from 132,000 just 8 years ago - less than half. Some shows must have no listeners.

Thanks for keeping the pressure up @borofergie while the LP County Councillor has been completely absent. Good of you to step up for us.

CCC have done a great job of prioritising these works and getting the road opened quickly (it's been shut for more than three works, but the work is substantial). What is less good, is that discussions about potentially upgrading the road have been punted into 2025.

Works starts today on Little Paxton Bridge, St Neots. Watch this short video from Councillor Alex Beckett, chair of Highways and Transport Committee to find out what's happening and click here to find out more: ow.ly/JU2250TSizu #Cambridgeshire

Great effort from Independent @CllrEddStonham (looking resplendent in Pink & Black) and my Green friend Kathryn Fisher. Ed did much better than I did at the Histon and Impington end of the St Neots and Mid Cambs constituency.

The results are in of the by-election and the new district councillor for Histon and Impington is James Rixon (Lib Dem)
