May the Sacred Heart of Jesus be loved and adored today throughout the world!

The evangelizing success of the early Church had 3 factors. The joyful and confident proclamation of the risen Christ. The will to suffer and die for the Gospel. The radical charity of the Christian community to the poor and sick.

The US bishops prioritizing evangelization as a body is transformative. We must equip our people to engage others and lead them to Christ. This is the mission of the Church and our baptismal vocation.

Today, the USCCB made evangelization its single mission directive for the next three years. The initiatives, programs and activities which the bishops seek to implement will find their inspiration, focus and coherence in the Great Commission—to preach the Gospel, make disciples.

St. Martin’s charity towards the cold, shivering man will be remembered by the Church for all ages. So too, God remembers forever every act of love that we offer, everything that we give away to others and every sacrifice that we make for the glory of God and our neighbor’s good.

Millions come to Lourdes, looking for divine healing, strength, peace, grace, and favor. Here, God is beautifully at work, putting back together the broken pieces of our humanity. As our Mother, Mary is here loving us, bidding us to “do whatever He tells you.”
