I just came across this arxiv preprint… it marks my last research work affiliated with @ImperialBioeng In this work, we demonstrated a proof of concept for using the multi case PINN to achieve real-time fluid dynamics results in tube flows.

Multiple Physics-Informed Neural Network for Biomedical Tube Flows. arxiv.org/abs/2309.15294

Been shittly pissed off by LS-Dyna recently for its compensated performance on Windows PCs.🖕Memory exceptions raise stochastically almost during every phase of its simulation with no clue to the culprit - feeling as working with a premature yet dead thing. Truly shame on it.

A newly published paper by Yu Zhu examines how material properties and wall thickness influence rupture predictions of ascending thoracic aortic aneurysms (ATAA) using finite element analysis (FEA). Contact us for more information. #FEA #ATAA link.springer.com/article/10.100…

Time flies! Can’t believe it’s been two years apart between the grad ceremonies. Same venue, same Gaudeamus Igitur, and the same spirit - I’d save a lot of words but the deepest congratulations 🎉

Just realised I’m in my 4th year… And congrats to everyone who graduates today!! #OurImperial

A warm welcome to our visiting MSc student Jannik Geurts. He is currently a second-year student under the supervision of @SelePirola at @tudelft During his time at Imperial, he will work on developing a workflow for modeling patient-specific aortic valves using Ansys LS-DYNA.

Insightful haemodynamic study on aortic valve from our very own @031Nba freshly off the press - well validated and no regurgitations!

New paper out👏. A subject-specific FSI study on the healthy aortic valve by @031Nba Congrats!👏👏👏#FSI #AorticValve onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/cn…

Check out my newly published work on how to tune a more patient-specific inlet waveform. We find that incorporating a new patient-specific parameter, the ratio of cardiac systole and diastole period (SDR), significantly enhanced simulation accuracy. DOI: lnkd.in/gdfaVUdj

The day suddenly became a bit sentimental after the presentations from Y4 bioengineers - possibly the very last thing wraps up this hectic AY. I can seamlessly recall even the smallest details on *my* day exactly a year ago, time flies! And I’m so lucky to be around, still… 😊

To who made this video - at least you should tag a flash warning on the right corner, hence I would not even play it.

Let us reintroduce ourselves... are you ready to understand and transform?⚡️

I reckon everyone at imperial can typeset this in a LaTeX editor within 3 mins. Btw, it rly seems that the designer didn’t realise they used the default colour scheme as \color{blue}

Collaborative work from @kanxiaoxin and Dr. Yuan👏👏. This promising research focuses on quantifying 3D aortic root motion using dynamic CT imaging, offering deeper insights into the biomechanics of the aortic root academic.oup.com/ehjimp/advance…

Wow… this counts my fifth yr at Imperial for xmas… yet the first time since reloaded as a PGR. One more year, same spirit of togetherness, more stories and hope to come - Merry Christmas everyone! 🎄

Traditional Christmas dinner with the group! 🎄🎄🎄🎄Check our all published paper in this year 👉 imperial.ac.uk/people/yun.xu/… . Well done in the past 2023, and look forward more success in 2024!🎉🎉🎉
