For a single gun purchase, Hunter was convicted of 3 firearm charges—all because he got it while using drugs. Again: *millions* of people do this & the gov't does not zero in on them. If he weren't the president's son, those charges almost certainly wouldn't have been a thing.
A lot of folks are missing that Hunter Biden was charged with breaking a firearm law—owning a gun as an illegal drug user—that ~20 million Americans break & that a *tiny* number of people are prosecuted for. If you hate politically-motivated prosecutions, that should bother you.
The Jan. 6 pardons are coming, too. And MAGA will be defending them as fiercely as they are attacking the Biden pardon. Politics sucks.
Biden’s pardon of Hunter is wholly unsurprising. As is his failure to exercise that power remotely consistently. Because doing so would require him to acknowledge that there are thousands of people who are at least as deserving based on their encounter with our “justice” system.
