So many manuscripts/proofs I've seen recently have used the term "post-pandemic", and, like a good editor, I note in my comments that while the WHO announced the end of the emergency phase in May 2023, the pandemic is ongoing. I will keep doing this for as long as it remains true
We’re still in the Covid pandemic
I think it’s important to speak-out against the phrase “during covid/the pandemic”. Although often inadvertent, it overtly dismisses the ongoing reality of those who already have chronic conditions/cannot safely access much of the social world. During covid = now.
Yeah, health and wellness alone just doesn't cut it.

One thing I'm left with at the end of @occupyuoft: the failure of media to engage with what actually happened there, and the likely inability now to accurately summarize or thoughtfully reflect on what happened, because there was so little curiosity to begin with
