Genetically Modified soybean (Round Up Ready®) had reduced Mn (17 %) and Zn (47 %) nutrient efficiency. Application of glyphosate to GM soybean further plunged Mn and Zn nutrient efficiency by 24 % and 55 % respectively. Copper, iron and other essential nutrients were reduced.

We managed 100 tonnes yesterday from our one Ha. We are likely to pick again once, closing the winter crop chapter. The variety did not disappoint.

Today I realised, I under estimated my potential. Thanks to Madhumeni and Farmers I met on this application I can now call myself a Farmer (wemadomasi). I hope we are close to known yield potential for this variety which is 100k tonnes per Ha.
