Rights and liberties can be taken away at any moment, but the freedom you have in Christ can’t be touched. Ever.
Obvious but not so obvious belief: If someone doesn’t have the results you want in an area of life... faith, relationships, fitness, business. Usually a pretty good idea not to take their advice.
As a society, we are often appalled by the idea that our own feelings, experiences, and thoughts might not lead to the greatest moral good.
Jesus was more concerned with transforming peoples hearts than proving people wrong. Everyday I wake up I battle this desire, the desire to be seen as right. Lord, humble me today. Break me. I did nothing to deserve your grace.
If you are a Christian and you spend more time despising and slandering Joe Biden or Donald Trump than you you do praying for them, you’re in dangerous waters. God opposes the proud.
You don’t have to pick ”a side”. You can be against racism, child sex trafficking, and big government control. Don’t buy into the engineered division.
Anxiety comes when we try to control things that are out of our control. Yet peace doesn’t come when you finally have control over your life. Peace comes when you no longer need control!
Everyone knows the key to being a successful entrepreneur is owning a pair of air pods, and I recently lost mine. Uh oh.
If you live for yourself you can settle for less. If you live for others it requires all of who you are.
Husbands, if you don’t care for and cover your wife’s soul, someone else eventually will. Don’t risk it! Man up!
I used to think I knew what would make me happy, when actually I needed the one who created me to guide me to happiness. And He showed me and continues to show me true happiness comes from fulfillment in having a real, authentic relationship with Him where he’s the one in charge.
One of the absolute non negotiable keys to growing as a human is being able to say and mean these simple words... “I was wrong.”
The most influential leaders believe that no person or task is ever beneath them. Seems backwards, but it’s not.
Was reminded of this today... you cannot change what you don’t take responsibility for. When you blame someone you rely on them to solve your problem.

If you want to be a leader and a person of influence then you have to be okay with people not liking you. If you want everyone to like you then go sell ice cream🍦
So many of us base our path off of fear disguised as practicality instead of the will to be great. Don’t let that be you!
