For the cost of $285 million, Milan will be building 466 miles of fully separated bike lanes. Building a fully interconnected bike network for 35% of the cost of rebuilding a Chicago highway interchange is simply a no-brainer.

It's holiday season so of course a couple with their camper van thought it acceptable to break my fence and camp overnight on my land. They are now blocked in with our small tractor, should be fun when they wake up.

I've always suspected that an advanced alien civilisation with the technology to travel at close to light speed across interstellar distances would arrive in Earth orbit unobserved and proceed to dispatch a fleet of small, easily detectable balloons into our atmosphere.

"An official admitted he couldn't rule out the objects were extra-terrestrials. The object has been described by defence officials as an unmanned octagonal structure with strings attached to it." Wow! Aliens use string!? Do they have blu-tak as well?: bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-…

15 minute cities - a thread down memory lane 🧵 This was my parents house, in a suburb of Coventry. They bought it in 1965, and it was my home throughout the 1970s and half the 80s. My mum lived there until 2021. It was a very happy home. 1/22
