Oi #ATAGI how about vaccine boosters for kids, or any vaccine at all for the under 5s? Vaccination makes them 18 times less likely to die. Or is stopping kids dying not in your brief? sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

I feel like this needs a @TheVertlartnic along the lines of "hospital doctors now washing hands only every 3rd patient, claiming 'we're a bit tired' of doing it more often"

Vic moved to Stage 2 Covid response. One major Vic hospital decides to adopt a "watching brief" instead of escalating mitigations esp not moving to N95s for staff in all clinical areas as Dept of Health recommended instead citing "we're a bit tired of masks and other PPE". WTAF!

CVE-2023-31284 is like a bug straight out of the 90s/00s. Here's a taste in case you're looking for motivation to patch your #illumos boxen....

Think masking is for idiots? This thread is for you. In what industry are people considered to be THE assets? Doctors. Lol. Wrong. Bankers? Ha! Teachers? Bwahaha! Actors.

Verily, I say: show me an engineer who can write a perfect implementation of kerberosV, and I will say you have shown me a liar

Australians don't have basements because they can't dig down one foot without hitting an Aboriginal massacre site.

Are basements even a thing in Australia? Besides which, I'd posit that most of twitter are sufficiently dressed to take their garbage out if need be. Underwear, basement dwellers are more likely to be on the dark Web or gamers 🤦🏽‍♀️

The problem is obvious. A small elite, we will call it the 1% (although in reality it is both bigger and smaller) is doing so well out of causing the climate and ecological emergency i.e. profiting from it, wealth, status etc, that they don't want to change direction. 20/

Our ruling on 🍆 and other drawings: yes you can do it, but your nanna might be the poll worker counting your vote. Think of nanna. Writing that identifies yourself would make your ballot paper informal.

The heartbreaking thing is that PAM has all the tools to properly handle address space isolation (the goal in pamela), but the API is just too complex and sharing global state is much easier, so that's what everyone does, so isolation is impossible. That's how important an API is
