I get why there are theories about long term effects of birth control. That’s what happens when docs don’t give informed consent about short term side effects & people have to google them 🤷‍♀️ Can we tell people about IUDs causing pelvic pain and the pill causing bladder symptoms

So Nevada has a bill proposed that would eliminate the PT board and consolidate one board for PT, OT, chiro, athletic trainers, oriental med practitioners and massage therapists Nevada board of healing and rehabilitative practice… do any other states do this

If we 🚮 the FDA does that mean we finally get the black box warning off topical estrogen? How does an agency claim to regulate safety when they use incorrect info from 22 years ago that’s thoroughly debunked? I won’t miss em they also said my IUD, essure and mesh were safe lol

Transdermal estradial does not increase the risk of blood clots (deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolism), including in people with known clotting disorders. Transdermal estradial does not increase the risk of plaque rupture so also does not increase the risk of heart…

Women’s health is behind because our bodies are not seen as important as men’s. We need more funding, more data, more access to find out not just HOW to treat conditions but WHY they even occur. There’s so much we don’t know about endometriosis, menopause, adenomyosis, etc.

TV commercials used to be far more creative and heartwarming. They were also seasonal. It all begin to stop in 1997. But why? The US became the first and only country to allow pharmaceutical ads. Ad cost went up dramatically and so did media biases. VHS has the receipts.

Not a single American citizen should be forced to pay taxes until the Pentagon passes an audit

BREAKING: The Pentagon has just failed its 7th audit and says it cannot account for what its $824B budget is spent on.

When I had debilitating coccygeal neuralgia after IUD injury and explained how I was able to relieve the pain w needling and nerve glides They could not get around the fact that it wasn’t a tailbone fracture, constipation or hemorrhoid. Referred me for xray.

What’s the most outrageous thing a medical professional has ever said to you?

Why do some medical doctors still not believe in local hormone blocking side effects of some oral contraceptives? 😩 they have got to hurry up and advance I feel like in pelvic PT we accepted it like 5 years ago

I was diagnosed with IC and all the symptoms stopped once I went off of birth control. which I told an obgyn once, and they didn’t believe me and gave me a referral for an IC specialist.

Vaginal estrogen is safer than Tylenol and if you followed me you'd know that so maybe learn something before throwing clown faces around

Yeah, I can’t imagine anything going wrong with over the counter hormones. 🤡😒

THE UK HAS OVER THE COUNTER VAGINAL ESTROGEN. THE US NEEDS TO GET THEIR SHIT TOGETHER AND MAKE THIS HAPPEN

US Healthcare is about corporate interests. Do we agree with in network productivity standards and is it helping us provide patient care?? If not then we should hope to hear from APTA in response to any changes good or bad. This might be a way to evolve but not if we just watch.

Regardless of who is confirmed as HHS Secretary, major change is coming to US healthcare soon. @RobertKennedyJr has tapped into a public sense, accelerated by the disastrous covid response, that US health institutions have been deeply corrupted by corporate interests, which are…

Tell ALL OF YOUR FRIENDS Vaginal estrogen is the closest thing to a medical miracle I have at my disposal to help people

It was only through a menopause support Facebook group I found out the benefits of localised oestrogen are to urinary issues.

I was getting a procedure at a prenatal appt today, and I asked the doctor if it was going to hurt. She said “it won’t hurt the baby,” which I do think is a relatively good metaphor for how society views mothers

Ok but the point stands that the people want to know why pharmaceutical companies have any hand in the food we eat Regardless of good or bad policies doesn’t it make sense that people don’t understand this ?

Did you know that Bayer the company that wellness influencers and MAHA grifters demonize because of “glyphosate” (even though glyphosate is produced by dozens of companies) Also manufactures many of the dietary supplements y’all enthusiastically promote? 👀 what say you?
