The adoption of Resolution 2728 by the UN Security Council today, demanding an immediate ceasefire in Gaza for the duration of Ramadan and the unconditional release of hostages, is an important step after too many failed votes.

The politics of hope amongst friends...

Senator George Mitchell on health, hopes & the actor who plays George Mitchell on stage.

A fitting tribute to George J. Mitchell was unveiled at Queen's University Belfast today. His patient, empathetic leadership provided the foundation for our peace. He will be remembered... #Agreement25 #qub #leadership

To the young people of Northern Ireland – Your history is our history. Your future is our future. It’s hard to communicate just how deeply invested in your success people across the United States are.

The Centre for the Union is proud to publish independent legal advice on the 'Windsor Framework' from former Northern Ireland Attorney General, John Larkin KC as well as our own summary and a foreword from our Parliamentary Chairman, Ian Paisley MP. centrefortheunion.co.uk/post/windsor-f…

A big step towards clean, secure and affordable energy system in NI?

Wrightbus is planning to develop a green hydrogen production facility at its factory in Ballymena. Green hydrogen is seen as a replacement for fuels like diesel, and way to help hit government targets to radically reduce dangerous greenhouse gas emissions.

EU/UK move closer to agreement?

NEW: The EU will accept the principle that GB goods shipped to NI and staying there should be treated differently to goods moving south into the single market and as such will agree to a green and red lane model at ports, as proposed by the UK, a senior EU official tells @rtenews
