Erling Haaland joined City and in his first season he broke the record for most goals scored in a single season in the Premier League. On top of that he won the treble. He was not given the Ballon d'Or. Did he boycott the award and cry on social media? No, he congratulated Messi.

Eu farei 10x se for preciso. Eles não estão preparados.

I'll take a moment and brag a bit. We had an amazing year at Hereford, 4 team titles thanks to an amazing group of coaches I am lucky to be a part of!

In my 20th year of coaching it is fun to still be able to do things for the first time. Last night we swept the Girls and Boys team titles at the Indoor State Championships! An incredible day!

Your daily reminder that comparing anything remotely fast to @usainbolt is disingenuous & misleading. Hopping on a moving walkway for 4 seconds isn’t in the same zip code as accelerating to, hitting, & sustaining the FASTEST speeds every recorded by the human species. Thanks…

Zachariah Branch reportedly hit 26 MPH during training recently. That is 1.33 MPH short of Usain Bolt’s record top speed of 27.33 MPH. Branch is already on the radar of NFL teams and he’s just a FRESHMAN at USC. One of the fastest players college football has EVER seen. Caleb…

Absolutely facts right here!

getting rolled by the specialists as a multi builds character (& pbs) 🥲

baltimoresun.com/sports/high-sc… ANOTHER high school athlete in MD gets screwed over by horrendous officiating... embarrassing to see this happening to some of the best athletes on the state, and yet they don't get to compete at the State Meet

Winning can't be fun? The referee did a terrible job. The "jury of appeals" who upheld this did worse. The referee claimed he was "waiving his arms the entire way down the straightaway" when they went up with less than 10 meters left. Garbage decision. @MPSSAA_Org fix this

Catoctin’s Brody Buffington (U.S. No. 1 in the 55) won’t be able to defend his state title in the 300 after getting DQ’d for his celebration at the Maryland 1A West region meet.

Here’s another (statistical) way of dissecting what went wrong with Team USA in the men’s 4x100 final. The Americans clearly had the fastest raw speed in open space, but just “middle of the road” exchanges, resulting in the silver medal. ⁦@NBCSportsPR⁩ ⁦@AtoBoldon

🔫 Number of reaction times recorded under 0.115 at world championships men’s 100m & 110m hurdles (all rounds) during the past decade (same FS detection provider) 2011 - 0 2013 - 0 2015 - 0 2017 - 2 2019 - 3 2022 - 25 ! Not the same standard, however the 0.100 rule still stands

Reaction times: 0.1 limit is a convention since late 1960s and the first recordings in competitions by Junghans in West Germany, not a scientific finding at all. Here’s the history of RT & how IAAF came up with this number cemented in the 1991 rule : worldathletics.org/download/downl…

Great thoughts here! If you feel "good" all year long, you aren't reaching to your potential.

For XC athletes, you're right in the middle of the mid-summer grind. You're not supposed to feel good right now when championships are in November. Stop feeling sorry for yourself because you don't 'feel good' & instead, focus on handling your mentality when you DON'T feel 100%.
