What we are witnessing in Gaza and Lebanon isn't just the end of international law, but the possible demise of diplomacy itself, which predates it by millennia. The US' weaponisation of cease-fire negotiations to systematically ravage Gaza and Lebanon have turned US diplomacy…

As a result of the failure to stop the genocide in Gaza, the genocide has now expanded to Lebanon. Once again, on live TV, entire cities and villages are being bombed and decimated, with hundreds killed every day. Lebanon is experiencing the largest internal displacement in its…

It seems that Israel’s targeting of Deir el-Balah is gradually intensifying. For your information, Deir el-Balah is the only remaining standing city in the entire Gaza Strip. With an area of 14 km², it’s currently hosting more than a million residents and refugees. If Israel…

This is annihilation. There are no words left to capture the horror. Gaza is being obliterated—people are being murdered, starved, and displaced for months on end. Repeating these words feels like a hollow echo and a useless endeavor. But we have no choice but to persevere and…

One of the most enduring arguments from Dialectic of Enlightenment is that every absurd fascist projection about its racial enemy is in fact a priori justification, fantasy, and confession of its own aspirations.

Do not forget.. It is not only #Rafah, which is being burned, but Gaza, Deir al Balah, Al Nusairat, #Jabalia and every city, every neighbourhood, every refugee camp and everywhere are being burned!

Yes, @umanitoba is cordoning off parking, diverting bus routes, reassuring everyone about classes. This is a strategy to turn the general population against the encampment and to frame it as an inconvenience and even a threat to the campus.

I’m absolutely disgusted by the police violence unleashed on these students protesting a genocide and ashamed to be an alumnus of @UAlberta today. This is a sickening and cowardly response to the students’ encampment and a stain on the reputation of the university.

This morning @edmontonpolice violently swept the @UAlberta student encampment. I’m waking to horrific video. At least 2 arrests.

Displaced Palestinians are not being asked to “evacuate” Rafah - they are being forcibly displaced, ethnically cleansed (again). With ‘evacuation’ we imply that people are going somewhere safe and that they will be able to return. Neither of these are the case for Palestinians.

The "evacuation" of Rafah is illegal. There are no "humanitarian" or "safe zones." Civilians are being forcibly displaced to areas totally unsuitable to human habitation. This is a crime against humanity.

People did warn us about Stop Cop City, week in and out for months and months. They were right—they were the first protestors to face an extremely rehabilitated and even more grotesque police force after 2020—and we should say so.

Who told you that the 1.5 million displaced Palestinians sheltering in Rafah have nowhere left to go? My family, now in Rafah, has a home in Jaffa, from which we were expelled by a fascist German family. The majority of our people in Gaza have homes to go to, all over Palestine.

In this report, Librarians and Archivists with Palestine offers a partial list of archives, libraries, and museums in Gaza that have been destroyed, damaged, or looted by Israeli armed forces since October 7, 2023. Visit the link in bio to read the full report.

Canadian politician, bemoaning young people's ignorance of history, goes on camera and says, apropos Mandatory Palestine, "there were hundreds of thousands of people, but other than that, there was no economy," inadvertently giving them a memorable lesson about neoliberalism.

Haven't given a lot of thought to the fact that using this site is now a free gift of our human capacities to an inhuman aggregator but it is pretty wild that its training data will principally include the crescendo of a genocidal project

Massive Attack have not performed (& will not perform) in Israel since the international request was made by Palestinian civic society & artistic institutions in 2002 (reiterated in 05 as BDS) as a form of non-violent pressure on Israel to end its brutal occupation of Palestine.

Your shows in Tel Aviv were fantastic

Canadians, I need you to sit with this for a bit and really allow yourself to be disgusted with it. This same idea exists and festers among settlers here. Kahnesatake and Kahnawake were besieged so that settlers could have a golf course on a Native burial ground.

"The settlers want to see the sea. That is a logical and romantic demand. Gaza must be erased so that settlers can see the sea. We must evacuate #Gaza of all Arabs and build Jewish settlements in all of Gaza" - Daniella Weiss, head of a Zi*onist settler movement #GazaGenocide
