Heading to Yukon again tomorrow for another round of fieldwork and community engagement. Photo was just sent by a member of the group who was doing some 24 hour measurements of shrub stomatal conductance. Looks like night is coming.... then winter....

New paper alert! We found high stability in spatial patterns of flow and chem, despite the presence of strong seasonality. Shoutout to @cryo_h2o @dbarrett867 for the winter fieldwork (far from a simple task in Wolf Creek). I'm sure they're glad it wasn't for nothing!

Check out Arsh's @ak__grewal new #OpenAccess paper in @HydroProcesses that finally looks in the 'black box' that was Wolf Creek @WolfCreekYT for many years. Flows, isotopes and solutes showed unexpected results. Lots of type 2 fun fieldwork here! onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/hy…

📢New paper alert! We looked at MeHg concentrations and loads pre- and post-harvest across 5 harvested and 2 reference boreal forest watersheds: tinyurl.com/25ubb8m2 Key takeaway: current BMPS are pretty solid, provided that small streams are protected.
