Jay eating the foxes peanuts. What a nerve. Admittedly they are by the bird feeder 😁@DorsetWildlife
Wareham Forest - Fairy fingers (pink and white types) growing in the unimproved grassland. @DorsetWildlife
Hartland moor having its best waxcap season for many years (presumably the rather wet summer is responsible). Two of my favorites, Buff Meadow cap and Scarlet waxcap. @DorsetWildlife
Middlebere track - ring ouzel in the rowan trees. @harbourbirds @DorsetBirdClub @DorsetWildlife
The juvenile osprey fishing in Brands bay this afternoon. Eventually drifted off (without fish). @DorsetBirdClub @harbourbirds
Brands bay - WT eagle flushed all the ducks out the bay and a juvenile osprey fishing (trying) @harbourbirds @DorsetBirdClub
Middlebere - fairly quiet until one of the eagles thundered past. The osprey pair are still there hunting up and down the channel. @DorsetBirdClub @harbourbirds
Middlebere - ringed male osprey hunting over the channel today. @DorsetBirdClub @harbourbirds
The Middlebere farm osprey still here and hunting up and down the channel. @DorsetBirdClub @harbourbirds

Middlebere farm - female Osprey landing on the lookout nest. Fingers crossed she finds a mate next year (and big thanks to Jake for the tour of the farm). @harbourbirds
Pruning through my photos and came across this one taken at Morden. Osprey and possibly a Honey Buzzard ? @harbourbirds @DorsetBirdClub
Middlebere a constant stream of passing ospreys this morning. Amongst them was 5R2. @harbourbirds
Common tern fishing technique. Flying low over the fry shoals in order to panic them and then plucking them out of the air as they leap to escape. (look closely in the ripples on the right and you can see a couple of leaping fish). @DorsetWildlife @harbourbirds
Cuttlefish eggs washed up on Studland beach. Look and feel like black grapes. @DorsetWildlife
Picos de Europa - finally got round to photographing Alpine choughs. The 600mm lens was shall we say superfluous😄.
Picos de Europa - Red-backed shrike feeding its family a well bashed cricket with the hard bits pulled off. Filmed in slomo wobble cam.
