Today, WinAppSDK has completed the trifecta: Ship File Explorer on WinAppSDK/WinUI3, release the same libraries for all applications to use, and now the source for that WinUI 3 release is available! github.com/microsoft/micr…

What a year '22 was for us at @Microsoft working on #ReactNative! 🤯 We've recently sent out an internal report that looks back and celebrate some of the key goals, and while we can't share that with you all - we can give you a short overview... 😉 1/🧵

For my next trick, I'll upgrade your super-complicated React Native app from 0.64 to 0.68 automatically. 🪄🎩🐇 Oh, and I'll keep your dependencies up-to-date automatically, too. 😎 #reactnative #ReactNativeDevTools #rnxkit microsoft.github.io/rnx-kit/docs/g…

👀 It's a blogpost double header! Check out how the #Windows11 Settings app is using #RN4W to deliver the Your Microsoft Account page & learn about React Native WinRT - a new extension that lets you call WinRT APIs directly from JS! aka.ms/rnwsettingsblog aka.ms/rnwinrtblog

RN Upgrade Helper (react-native-community.github.io/upgrade-helper/) now supports upgrading react-native-windows C++ and C# applications and react-native-macos applications! (Hit the settings button to change the type of application)

I'm happy to announce that react-native-macos 0.64 has been released. Slowly but surely we are going to get react-native-macos caught up to react-native and react-native-windows. (Which both have 0.67 previews out!)

Comcast won't let you cancel service through their website. But you can tell them you are moving and would like to transfer service to Adak, AK. At which point they'll let you know they don't have service there, so they'll just cancel your service.

Yesterday we released react-native-windows 0.64. That was just a single working day after react-native 0.64 was released. Now cross platform apps can keep up with the latest react-native features. github.com/microsoft/reac…

Tried @HermesEngine on iOS now... The call to hide splash screen happens even before the initial window-maximizing animation finishes. The startup is so fast that the splash screen feels completely redundant and frankly, the launch looks better without it! Great job @grabbou 👏

Years ago, I wrote a game for windows with some moderate success. My kids started playing it the last few weeks and have been obsessed. It's fun to see it through their excitement. microsoft.com/store/productI…

I'm not usually one to post about screenshot leaks, but this one I'm more excited about as this app's UI was entirely rewritten and is now written in react-native using react-native-windows. neowin.net/news/screensho…
