Industry talk: Allan Scardina (ex-Shell now VGS Associates) will be giving a talk on ‘The Greater Tarakan Basin Area of Indonesia: From Plate Tectonics to New Hydrocarbon Play Opportunity’ in SEE seminar rooms 8.119, 16:00 on 2nd October 2018.
.@stratleeds and @deepwater_zobes wrap up day 3 of the #Lobe3 fieldtrip with a discussion on deepwater lobe architecture, and the processes leading to the deposition of hybrid event beds. They happened to do this in front of some mega coarse-grained channel-fill(?) deposits! 😁
