As a partnership of 17 social landlords we will work with the UK Government, local leaders and others to find solutions to unlock additional supply and regenerate our brownfield sites. Together, we will push for the additional affordable homes which the West Midlands needs.

In today’s #KingsSpeech the Government set out plans to: 📈Accelerate economic growth and housebuilding 🤝Transfer power back to local leaders 🚪Protect renters from no fault evictions 🏠Fix broken systems to improve leaseholds and commonholds

Great to see WMHAP member @BCHousingGroup delivering energy efficiency upgrades to some of their homes in Wolverhampton and getting behind @natfednews's long term #PlanForHousing

With the UK General Election taking place on Thursday, we are urging all parties and candidates to get behind @natfednews’ long-term #PlanForHousing. Whatever the result, we will continue to push for the additional affordable homes which our region needs.

The housing crisis is the result of decades of underinvestment in #SocialHousing, but it can be solved. The next govt must put an end to short-term thinking. Ahead of #GE24 we are calling for a long-term #PlanForHousing 🏠

Brilliant to see WMHAP partners @orbitgroup, @citizen_housing ,GSA, @MidlandHeart, @Bromford, @StonewaterUK & @wearewhg included in the Top 50 Biggest Builders list compiled by @insidehousing Together, we are providing the affordable homes that the West Midlands needs.

An important message from WMHAP partner @PlatformHousing Our partners contribute thousands of much-needed affordable homes in the West Midlands every year and as part of a long-term plan to tackle the housing crisis we could do more to help people get the home they deserve.

We are in a housing crisis. Two million children in England live in overcrowded, unaffordable, or unsuitable homes. That’s why we need a long-term plan for housing, to ensure warm and decent homes for more families and fix child homelessness. #PlanForHousing
